The New York State Lawn Care Association (NYSLCA) founded in 1986 is a non-profit organization that informs, educates, and serves as a major voice for the New York State lawn care industry. As a management resource and astute representative of our members, NYLCA offers pertinent literature publications covering topics such as pesticide concerns, environment health issues, legislation updates, talking points, positioning statements, petition forms, new product arrivals and more.

Known as "The True Environmental Activist", the Association's outreach continues to be a vital voice for fighting proposed bills that negatively impact lawn care businesses in New York State. The Association regularly meets with government officials at the state and local levels. Working for the benefit of our members, the Association's key focus is to work for laws and regulations affecting lawn care professionals that are reasonable and responsible, and do not unjustifiably burden these professionals in New York State.

NYSLCA members range from small to large businesses providing professional horticulture services to commercial, residential and governmental agencies. These services typically include fertilizer and pest control applications, seeding, aerations, ornamental shrub and tree care, lawn renovations, landscaping, mowing and trimming.
