NYSLCA was created to increase the public's understanding of the benefits of lawn care as well as promoting horticulture practices that involve the proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, mowing and watering techniques. Important aspects of NYSLCA is to keep our members up to date on new technologies, leading university studies, lawn care management strategies, and our on going cooperative efforts among federal, state and private sectors for a sustained balance between aesthetic and environmental for lawns.
